Reading Interventionist provides leadership, coordination, collaboration, and innovation in reading curriculum and instruction.
Responsibilities include:
Develops daily lesson plans for small groups of identified students that parallel and support classroom instruction.
Meets regularly with classroom teachers to plan instruction and communicate and evaluate student progress.
Works with classroom and special education teachers to manage, plan, implement and assess reading skills and instructional strategies.
Maintains accurate records to demonstrate student growth.
Guides teachers to collect and analyze data and develop action plans in response to determined student needs.
At least 2 years of relevant experience preferred
Bachelor degree and educator licensure required
Citizenship, residency or work visa required
This position is a non-aligned position through the end of the school year.
